About and contact.
I’m Matt, the developer of Snooker Rivals. This started because a friend on iPhone and I on Android wanted to play snooker together.
I built a simple browser game that worked across our devices, and we kept refining it until we had something fun to play. My friend suggested sharing it publicly, so this is the pre-alpha version.
The game is free to play. It’s still in development, with rough edges in the physics, rules and presentation. Player reports and suggestions help me decide what to work on next.
Feedback and support
Join the Snooker Rivals Discord to report bugs, suggest improvements or follow development. For a gameplay bug, tell me your device and browser, which ball was on, what happened and what you expected. A screenshot or a clear description of the shot is useful.
For controls and getting a room started, see How to play. You can read updates and the project’s origin story in the Dev blog.
Development plans
I’d like to improve the table measurements and physics, add replays and develop a ranked system when the shots feel right. Character customization is also planned. These are plans for future work; you can read the dated posts for their context.
Support development
Free to play, and always will be. If you can, help cover the cost of servers and development. If you’d like to contribute, Support on Buy Me a Coffee.
